EVOLVING BRANDS

My creative journey has been in tandem with evolving brands, platforms, tech, and media. I’ve led teams through global rebrands for Comedy Central and, most recently, BET Media Group, elevating brand voices, building cohesive visual systems, and delivering award-winning 360° promo marketing campaigns and fan experiences.

At BET, we launched a bold, mission-driven global rebrand across BET, BET HER, BET+, BET DIGITAL, and BET EXPERIENCE. From key art and promos to show opens, flagship award shows like the BET Awards, and the BETX Fan Fest takeover of the LA Convention Center, our Brand Creative team shaped every touchpoint — celebrating Black culture and proudly serving the community. Earlier at Comedy Central, we helped launch and support iconic series including The Daily Show, South Park, The Colbert Report, Chappelle’s Show, Key & Peele, and Broad City, along with tentpole events like Comedy Central Roasts and the 3-day comedy festival, CLUSTERFEST. Below is a bit of a retrospective of Comedy Central's evolution, created in partnership with our inspirational in-house teams and ground-breaking design collaborators.

BRANDING
 
A Brief History of CC:
This collection celebrates the rich and varied history of the Comedy Central brand, from 2000 to present. It is an amazing journey of a brand adapting to new technologies and platforms, and most importantly, constantly evolving to super serve an ever-evolving audience.

THE DAILY SHOW(S)

As a Poli-Sci / Graphic Design fiend, it has been a tremendous pleasure to support decades of political satire from The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and The Colbert Report, as well as the relaunch of the The Daily Show with Trevor Noah and other political comedies.

SHOW OPENS + LOGOS

The CC design team always had a love of type craft, and a long history of developing show logos + opens for a wide range of events, series and specials. Check out a few Roasts,  Stand-Up Specials and Show Opens that we worked on.
